What
is CYT?
CYT
is a fun, exciting, after-school theater arts program for children ages 6-18
enrolling over 3000 students and producing 21 musicals yearly in the San Diego
region. Students enrolled (ages 8-18) are eligible to audition for the semester
production.
Where
is CYT?
Classes are
offered in seven geographic areas of San Diego and Riverside County with
branches in Chicago, Illinois; Spokane, Washington; Kansas City, Kansas;
Richmond, Virginia, and beginning in Denver, Colorado and Vancouver, Washington
in 2002.
When
is CYT?
Three 10-week terms each year beginning in September, January, and March,
taught by professionals dedicated to building confidence and self-esteem
in students. Classes include: Drama,Voice, Dance, Behind-the-Scenes, Musical
Theater, Clown & Mime, All That Jazz, Dialects, Theater Costumes,
Acting Workshop, Our Gang for ages 6-7, and much more! Class days and classes
vary in each location.
Who
is CYT?
It is a growing
network of families who value children, support the arts, and believe in traditional
family values and kids who love to perform. CYT is a non-profit, educational
arts organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race or religion.

much is CYT?
Tuition for a
10-week term is $135-$160. Financial assistance is available.
